Superintendents supervise every aspect of construction projects, reporting on progress to owners and managing contracts. They oversee daily operations on construction sites, manage subcontractors and trade workers, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Superintendents handle job scheduling, safety compliance, quality control, and coordination with project managers and clients. They work primarily on construction sites with some office time for planning and documentation. The work can be physically demanding and requires strong leadership skills.

TRAINING:
Construction experience preferred; bachelor's degree helpful but not always required; 3+ years on-the-job training
